Materials: Flowers, paint & paper

· Go for a little walk and collect some lovely flowers

· Use the flowers as paintbrushes to paint a lovely picture on the paper

Fine motor

Using the child's fine motor skills to hold on to the skinny stems and to pick the flowers from the soil

Sensory

Allow the kiddies to feel and explore the different textures of the flowers

Academic

Talk about the differnt parts of the flowers (stem, petals etc)

Talk about the name of the different flowers.

Label the different coloured paint
